There is no doubt that Rome is not a city in which the leading gay movement is concerned. However, gradually raising their flag is proudly and each time there are more choices for members of this community.

Rome may not be one of the capitals most nightlife, but knowing the appropriate places, it is possible to spend the whole night of revelry.

The Romans often leave late, the party begins after dinner. The bars and cafes in Campo de'Fiori, Piazza Navona and Via della Pace are the liveliest. The Irish pubs are also very popular among Romans and expatriates.

The high concentration of nightclubs is in the neighborhoods of Testaccio and Ostiense.

One of the main areas of Testaccio is Via di Monte Testaccio, which is littered with bars, pubs, discotheques and bars with live music.
