jamie_bamber_275x212Chris Evans stopped by "Good Morning America" to promote the release of his upcoming film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and proceeded to quash the rumors that he plans to retire from acting.

Rumors that Evans would retire began after a recent interview with Glamour, where the actor confessed his plans to “take a break from acting” once his contractual obligations with Marvel had finished.

Those rumors were fueled later in an interview with Variety, where he echoed those sentiments a bit.

“If I’m acting at all, it’s going to be under a Marvel contract, or I’m going to be directing,” Evans said. “I can’t see myself pursuing acting strictly outside of what I’m contractually obligated to do.”

This led many to believe that once the actor’s six-picture contract with Marvel was finished (presumably after "The Avengers 3" in 2017), he would retire altogether. “You say one thing in an interview. I said I directed last year and I really responded to it, I really enjoyed it and I’d love to focus a little more on that,” Evans told “Good Morning America” in response to a question about the rumors.

“Then [I’m] retiring, hanging up the shoes I guess. By no means am I planning on retiring. It’s kind of a silly statement.”

On this week’s episode of Gay Celebrities Take Nude Selfies Too, out actor Scott Evans—younger brother to Captain America‘s Chris Evans, who is also dangerously hot—appears in a series of nude selfies that “hit the internet” this morning via omg Blog.

Most know Scott as Oliver Fish from ABC’s One Life to Live, though we more fondly remember him as the adorable mailroom boy in Confessions of a Shopaholic (he had two lines and only appeared in one minute of the movie, but for that time, was completely hot).

No need to debate whether the man in these photos is actually Scott Evans or not; we’re here to discuss something even more important, he has a very big tool!!.

Evans began playing the recurring role of police officer Oliver Fish on One Life to Live on January 15, 2008. He subsequently appeared briefly on Guiding Light as Trey in 2008, and guest-starred as Woody Sage in the June 22, 2008 Law and Order: Criminal Intent episode "Betrayed" as well as the role of Ben in the October 21, 2008 Fringe episode "The Cure." Evans was also seen as Chad the Mail Clerk in the 2009 film Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Initially brought in to One Life to Live for five episodes, Evans returned several times. In July 2009, his character Oliver Fish became involved in a romantic relationship with another man named Kyle Lewis (played by Brett Claywell). The storyline came to wider attention when Patricia Mauceri, an actress who had played a recurring role on the One Life to Live since 1995, was replaced after reportedly voicing personal religious objections to her character's involvement in his storyline. Evans was later outed as gay by his brother Chris.

The Fish storyline on One Life to Live was dropped and both Scott and Brett were let go in 2010. Scott also had a guest role on the AMC series Rubicon as an American involved in a serious terrorist attack with al-Qaeda.

Chris Evans was joined by his out brother Scott – who once played gay police officer Oliver Fish on One Life to Live – during his appearance last night on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to promote his latest film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

While there, the two played “The Sibling-wed Game” – a brother-oriented version of The Newlywed Game – where each tried to guess the funniest moments from their childhood the other brother shared.

With stories ranging from embarrassing pranks to one brother taking the blame for the other’s impromptu home decoration demolition, the two had no problem keeping both the show’s host and audience in stitches.

Chris has been an outspoken supporter of LGBT equality throughout his career. “As for gay marriage, it’s mindboggling and appalling that human beings are being denied civil rights in this country,” he said in a 2009 interview with The Advocate. “But time will heal all. I have to believe that in 10 years we won’t be having this conversation.”
